Salam semua. Hari tok tek kamek ngabas AirAsia.com sebab nak ngecek tiket flight, ada kursus next week kat KL. Tiket mahal now nak pergi balit Kuching-KL jak dah maok masok RM400 sorang. Showbih, boh jak lah, lagikpun, malas juak nak gi training ya. hehehe. Bukan apa bah, pergi sehari ajak, belanja besar, sian ngan kompani lak nak mayar tiket mahal-mahal. lagikpun, ari ya dah pergi juak, and more or less sama jak course ya. Mun pergi pat mbak member tek, sik juak apa, mok juak ada lain nak dapat dipolah.

So nak dijadikan cerita lah, leka surf kat airasia tek tertemulah kamek ngan AirAsia Portal. Ingat apa tek, duhal AirAsia pun links to social media network. Mun kitak orang sik tauk gik apa social media ya, nya adalah macam facebook, twitter, blog.. semua ya dalam kategori social media lah. Kan kita dah ada print media, web media, mass media.. so now ada social media. Actually dolok kamek ada juak terpikir and berbincang pasal tok lah. Sebab sekarang tok zaman dah bukan zaman web gik, tapi zaman social media. Semua orang nektok tauk facebook, tua mudak semua ada facebook.

Mun nenek ku mata nya sik rabun kah, arum bulak nya pun ada juak facebook kali. hehe. Web pun dah berubah daripada static contents to dynamic contents yang sentiasa ada update. Jadi cara paling cepat pantas dan tepat (kedak bunyi slogan polis jak) adalah melalui social media tok. Tapi walaupun senang n mostly free untuk advertise atau let know of anything new about one organization, ada beberapa rules yang patut diekot juak lah. Contohnya, jangan terlalu banyak lak update, kelak dianggap spam. N last-last orang hide kita. Dolok mun spam, orang madah Anything That Sent Repitatively To Me From Somebody I Do Not Know.. tapi nektok, spam dah bermaksud, Anything I do Not Want To See.. termasuklah status update yang setiap seminit ada jak lah. Macam quiz-quiz yang melobor lam facebook ya, dah kamek hide dah.. macam spam jak. Tha’s why organization yang ada social media macam tok, jangan overflood the page, kelak kenak hide, kan susah.

Sebenarnya banyak juak dah kompani yang besar-besar dah ada involvement dalam social media tok. Macam coke, intel, hp, redhat.. semua ada facebook page or twitter tag. Dengan social media tok lah orang akan senag untuk mendapat isu terkini pasal sigek-sigek komapani ya, samada events, updates or iklan. Sebab orang nektok dah banyak lak spend masa kat social media tok selain website. Blog pun kira salah satu contoh social media.

Berbalit pada kisah AirAsia tek, nang salute lah sebab banyak juak social media sidak ada.. dari facebook, twitter, blog, flickr n youtube. Changgih sik.. cayalah AirAsia. k lah, ya jak update tek. Kamek sik tauklah berapa lamak dah page ya online, tapi just nak update sitok, in case kitak orang tek sik tauk hehe. Selamat surfing AirAsia.

Facebook is gaining massive attention from the first day it was announce to be publicly accessible, not just a group of students from Harvard, as how it was initially intended for. From that day onwards, facebook redefines a new level of online social connect. While you may think it is just a plain Friendster or Myspace, facebook extend further than just messages, comments and online status. What’s is so great nowadays about facebook is that it is all easy to be understood and used by many, but also capable of doing more than that underneath. A set of features mostly intended to a group of people looking on how to monetize its platform. By monetized I mean, not making money completely out of it, like advertising or selling your own apps. But making facebook social graph, as a big footprint for a large distribution of your products and at the same time, creating a massive advertising audience that are already there, just waiting.

For a developer, facebook introduce many design patterns that will make you think twice on how to develop your applications up to that level of facebook in terms of users management and controls. You may have heard of facebook wall, post, pokes, messages, comments, reviews, application, notes and pictures to name a few of thing that you can already do within the boundary of facebook.com. But how many of us aware about facebook developer, facebook platform, facebook connect or facebook beacon. These are just a few example of things that you can do on facebook that harness the power of social graph.

Facebook Beacon is a way for you to bring actions you take online into Facebook. Beacon works by allowing affiliate websites to send stories about actions you take to Facebook. – www.facebook.com

Like a beacon, you can use this facebook beacon to announce the existence of your company or your product. Just imagine how many users on facebook can actually see what your users are doing from inside facebook. For example, you own a shopping cart, and you have a facebook user on your site buying something. With a facebook beacon, when that user bought something from your online store, a beacon is submitted to facebook and posted on that user wall. His friends will be able to see this actions and eventually will know about your shopping cart too. His friends may also join in and come to your shopping cart and again, another beacon is sent to facebook and seen by the rest of his friends. Viral as I will put this. A simple thing, but very effective. Without facebook beacon, the only way you can hope that your cart buyers are propagating the existance of your cart is via the “Tell a friend” button, but who wants to fill in yet another form, right.

Remember the last time you sign up on a website, create new account or register a login name just to gain access to one thing and forget about it later. Do you remember how many accounts your have registered on the net. Truth is, we are leaving our personal details here and there averywhere on the internet. As for a web developer, to have a user register on your website is one of the first selling point that you have succeeded. The buying thing is later. Indirectly, getting them to signup is like getting them to buy your product. People get tired of filling up forms, username, password, birth date and so on. Tauk sik kitak orang website tok, www.wikipedia.org. Mun sik tauk gik nang apa lah. Wikipedia tok actually just a website, tapi isi kandungan nya bukan sama macam website-website yang lain. Website tok pun pernah rank one of the top 5 website in the world, wasehh.. glamor apa. tapi now, the founder merayu mintak tolong support sidak pun financial, yang kamek rasa dah semakin teruk, mungkin juak tegal ekonomi dunia yang merudum ya.

Biasalah nak, dah lah website tok free gik ya. Sapa-sapa pun leh bukak, access tanpa perlu bayar, n yang paling best, sik da iklan, sik da pop up segala. Tapi ya lah, kerna free tek, sidak empun website ya makin terok lah sebab kenak tanggung perbelanjaan menjalankan website ya. Expenses setahun jak lebih kurang 6 juta Dollar.. waduh, mun duit ya masok lam gaji ku kah, sampei bercucuk pun sik abis gik kali. hehehe.. verangan.

k, lah, tok petikan dari founder nya, mun kitak orang rajin, bacalah, mun sik rajin, baca jak, nei tauk pandei rajin tetiba.. hehe.

Sik lamak gik WordPress 2.7

Sik lamak gik akan release wordpress versi baru, 2.7. Tanggar kat sneak preview tek, nang changgih juak lah 2.7 tok, tapi sik sure gik berapa banyak features baru yang mok diengkah nya dalam ya. First time dolok mula bekerjasama ngan wordpress tok, masa ya mun sik salah gik version 1 sumething. Nang banyak juak steady improvement dari team wordpress tok.

So, pendek cerita, tok sneak peak video ya. ;) Sik sabar nunggu version baru tok. Walaupun release date nya dah ditunda, tapi rasa-rasa before new year mesti dah kuar dah. Tunggu jak lah. And hopefully time ya kelak, banyak juak features yang di made available to the wordpress.com pun blog, macam blog tok hehe ;)
